This grant was an amazing benefit. As an overseas student, it placed a significant dent in the financial expenses associated with a student living abroad. These expenses included but were not limited to books, boarding fees, school supplies and all the expenses that go along with a student studying abroad. This was a well needed and appreciated grant. I wholeheartedly thank the CTO Foundation for this superb opportunity that has honed my skills, knowledge, and competencies in the field, and for the opportunity to give back to individuals who want to travel the same path in this wonderful industry. Currently, I am employed as a Senior Catering Sales Manager at the JW Marriott in Houston Texas, USA. My major responsibility is to generate local catering revenue for the hotel. This includes but is not limited to revenue from meetings, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs and gala dinners.
