Scholarship
MSc. of Tourism Administration
George Washington University Washington, DC, USA
It is with pleasure that I convey my sincere thanks to the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) for my present success which I achieved mainly because of the scholarship which CTO awarded me in 2000.
I am now the proud holder of a Masters of Tourism Administration (MTA) Degree from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. I graduated with a GPA of 3.83.
I must commend the CTO for the initiative it is taking in training Caribbean nationals in tourism management. This industry is vital to our region, and it is imperative that we continue to foster training as an essential part of this sector.
I look forward to serving the region and using my training to the maximum in helping to train others. I sincerely hope that CTO will continue its assistance to others like me who are seeking opportunities to receive training.
Now that I have returned to the region, I am hoping that my services would be put to good use in helping to heighten awareness in the vital role that tourism is playing, and will continue to play, in the economies of the region.
