Receiving the CTO Foundation Scholarship not only allowed me to enhance my educational background, but permitted me to experience and appreciate other cultures. Since completing the MSC program, I have maintained an active involvement in tourism education as I regularly serve as an industry guest professional at the University of New Haven in Connecticut and in the past the New York University (NYU) in New York. Also, I regularly sit on industry panels discussing varied tourism industry issues. 

In my role at the Saint Lucia Tourist Board I have led successful Marketing, Public Relations and Sales efforts. Also, I have represented Saint Lucia on various panels and conferences featuring the weddings and honeymoon niche market.  I have been voted Best International Tourist Board Manager by readers of Travel Agent Magazine for a record three times.
