My decision to further my studies was a leap of faith as I had no idea where the finances would come from to complete the program, but I applied nonetheless. I then took another leap of faith when I applied for the Bonita Morgan Memorial Scholarship, understanding the demand for these opportunities and the possibility that there would be many worthy applicants. However, I am deeply honoured to have been chosen as an awardee of this foundation. I must express my sincere gratitude to the CTO for believing in me and trusting that I would maximize the opportunity. 

I heartily anticipate the completion of my Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and being able to apply the knowledge learnt to the development of relevant structures and policies which are solution focused and to also promote training and upskilling of young professionals. 

Although the award granted by the CTO Foundation does not cover the full cost of tuition, I am so much closer to the goal than before and I commit to utilizing this opportunity to the best of my ability. 

Again, I humbly thank the foundation for its assistance in the realization of a small island dream and for believing in and supporting the development of the Caribbean.
