I am beyond thankful for the financial support from the CTO Foundation; my educational goals were made possible by the generous support of your organization.  Receiving this grant contributed significantly to my educational expenses and enabled me to attend university at little cost. The grant is not the end but just the beginning as I am committed to my education and achieving my goals in the Tourism Industry.

I am honored to be one of the recipients of the grant. I am genuinely and deeply appreciative of your support, which has enabled me to pursue my undergraduate degree at UWI Cave Hill Campus. Receiving this grant will be instrumental in my success by providing me the means to focus more on my academic studies in Hospitality and Tourism. It has given me the incentive and motivation to maintain a high personal interest in pursuing a career in the Tourism Industry.

I am currently employed as a Clerical Officer/Night Auditor at the Barbados Community College, Hospitality Institute.  My major responsibilities are to provide high quality customer service; receive reservations requests efficiently and answer switchboard with proper telephone etiquette; ensure the general check-in and check-out of guests; the nightly audit of daily receipts; offer and properly handle the requests for wake up calls; complete monetary and credit transactions and to notify management immediately of any guest, employee, or cash concerns without delay.
