The financial support I received from CTO definitely made it possible to pursue my study of interest that otherwise would of been very difficult to achieve.  The CTO Foundation has definitely been and continues to be a bridge to many individuals to achieving their educational goals.  In addition, the foundation through its financial support gives direct support to the development of the region by increasing the human capital by way of effective agents for sustainable tourism practices and key areas in the leading tourism industries.

I feel honored to be the recipient of a scholarship, given that I was selected out of numerous applicants.  As a result, it gives me that added motivation to continue to strive and work towards my long-term goals.  I think it is important to note that education is costly.

I am currently employed as a Research and Development Officer at Invest Saint Lucia, the official Investment Promotion Agency of the Government of Saint Lucia.  My major responsibility is to basically undertake the necessary market research and provide market intelligence to the key stake holders and decision makers with regards to investment promotion.  I help people make informed decisions.
