Dear CTO Scholarship Foundation,

Benjamin Franklin once said that an investment in knowledge pays the best interest. The investments that the CTO Scholarship Foundation makes in young Caribbean persons like myself through grants and scholarships, allow us to make a positive impact on the tourism industry in our countries, and the Caribbean by extension. It is an honor to be chosen as one of the recipients of the grants and I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and to be able to apply it to further develop the tourism product of Dominica.

My decision to pursue a degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management stems from my desire to enhance the tourism industry in my country and service excellence in the Caribbean region. This grant has afforded me the opportunity to complete my degree and to do just that. Pursuing a degree is quite a costly venture and this grant will assist in covering the costs associated with doing so. Once again, I extend my deepest gratitude to the CTO Scholarship Foundation and to Blue Group Media for giving me the opportunity to contribute positively to tourism.
