Despite coming from a country that is not predominantly focused on tourism my studies have shown me the potential of the industry as a means of developing Guyana and the wider Caribbean.  I would therefore; like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the CTO Foundation for the provision of a scholarship that allowed me to complete my Masters in Tourism and Hospitality at the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill Campus). With the knowledge that I have gained and the timely assistance afforded to me, I intend to make full use of the opportunities available and to work diligently to develop sustainable tourism in the Caribbean.

Once again I would like to thank the CTO Foundation for their continued efforts to assist Caribbean students in financial need.
